Le Caire islamique

Nous sommes allés découvrir le Caire islamique en commençant par la mosquée-madrasa du Sultan Hassan.

Pour ensuite aller admirer la Mosquée d’Ibn Tulum et la maison-musée Gayer-Andersen. Qui se rappelle dans quel James Bond on peut voir l’intérieur de cette maison?

En après-midi nous sommes allés à la mosquée ottomane de Muhammad Ali.

Puis nous sommes allés marcher sur la rue piétonnière El Moez.

We went to discover the Islamic part of Cairo, starting with the mosque-madrasa of Sultan Hassan. 

We then went to the Mosque of Ibn Tulum and the Gayer-Andersen house-museum. Who remembers in which James Bond movie was filmed inside this house? 

In the afternoon we went to the Ottoman Mosque of Muhammad Ali. 

Finally, we went for a walk on the El Moez pedestrian street.
